Hi Mississippi fans,

Well... we've just played Orange for The Frost Festival. It wasn't really frosty at all, it was pretty mild, but we weren't, we played for about 1 1/2 hrs for the 1st set on Thursday night, just to give the locals not just a taste but a FEAST of Misipi.... after that we were sweet, we killed it, they loved us.

The next night was the same, had 1/2 dozen folk on stage to help us out with Amazing Grace (Track 5, 3rd CD!!) and even the Boss came up at the end and paid (yes paid!!) for a Misipi CD.... doesn't get better than that.

My mistake. It does, they want us back.... we're doing the Hotel Orange after our Bathurst Gig in November. Jeff might even do a bit of a lecture @ the local music store, Landas Music, about recording and such.

We're getting pretty close to finishing the 4th CD called, Gotta Get Lucky Sometime.

We wanted to call the CD that, cause when we get to the US this year, that's what we want to happen and Jeff finally wrote a song with the same name. Turned out pretty good, so it's probably gonna be the 1st song on the CD.

Another song called "How can I Be Thirsty When I Had So Much To Drink Last Night" was on Australia's premier Blues Label, Black Market's Blues Sampler CD a month ago, so that's wonderful for us. FREE ADVERTISING on 3,000 CD's Australia wide!!! (Gotta Get Lucky Sometime!)

Our 3rd CD launch for "The Blues Lives Here" has sold out so too late for tix. We'll let you know how WONDERFUL the night was when we do it. It'll be "a gas!!"

ALSO, Jeff has been recording Anni Piper for her 2nd US release on Blues Leaf Records. So we can see Misipi supporting Anni on a 100 Gig US tour in 2010. We're packing our bags as we speak!!
