This was the first song that I wrote with the Elmore James riff and it's the song that started the whole damn thing... I remember hearing a Roy Roger's song with his great slide playing driving home from a session and thinking "hang on, I've got a recording studio, why don't I record my own C.D." and this was the first song I recorded. We have played it at almost every gig, we still love it and it always works.
Well I've been talkin' to my baby, she don't hear a single word (x2)
Interruptions in the morning, interjections in the evenin'
I've been talkin' to my baby
Well I've talkin' to my baby, she don't listen what I say (x2)
Interruptions in the morning, interjections in the evenin'
I've been talkin' to my baby
Well I've Talkin' to my baby (x4)
Well interruptions in the morning, interjections in the evenin'
I've been talkin' to my baby
Well I've been talkin' to my baby, she hears nothin' what I say (x2)
Interruptions in the morning, interjections in the evenin
I've been talkin' to my baby
